Improved reliability and performance. The machines feature a cleverly designed oscillating center articulated chassis for improved stability. Modern vibration control systems prevent over-compaction of the soil which is undesirable for most tasks. After reaching the required level of density, the automation turns off the vibration mechanism, and vibration is also turned off when the control lever is set to the neutral position. At the request of the customer, JCB VM 166D / PD single drum rollers can be additionally equipped with a Compactronic vibration control system with an acceleration sensor located directly on the drum.

Thanks to the extended cab, the operator has ample storage space for all the tools he needs. The roller controls are located in the most convenient way and are equipped with servo drives.
