The 456ZX models are equipped with the latest generation of Cummins diesel engines paired with a ZF four-speed automatic transmission. The design features of the transmission provide for smooth operation in all modes. Machine boom geometry has been adjusted to provide maximum breakout force on the bucket (154 kN). A large contribution to the overall efficiency of the equipment is made by the hydraulic system with variable flow and a special design of the hydraulic valve, the capacity of which reaches 362 l / min. Thanks to the use of unloaded valves, the boom lowers independently, without the participation of hydraulics.
